Sainik School Kunjpura places on record its deep appreciation for the distinguished service rendered by Shri Narender Nandal, TGT (Mathematics) and Shri Mukesh Sharma, TGT (Hindi) on their superannuation.

Shri Narender Nandal gave   dedicated service to the Sainik School fraternity for almost four decades. He served at Sainik School Balachadi from 1987 to 2001 before joining Sainik School Kunjpura on 01 April 2001. During his long and illustrious tenure, he served as House Master for  two decades and contributed to Hockey coaching for 34 years. He also shouldered responsibilities as Mathematics Lab Incharge, Swimming Incharge and in various co-curricular and sports activities.

Shri Mukesh Sharma, with over 27 years of dedicated service, joined Sainik School Kunjpura on 12 July 1999. During his tenure, he discharged several key responsibilities including House Master, Editor / Sub-Editor of Grey Kunj, Examination Incharge and Sports functionary. He played a pioneering role in the digitalisation of entrance and internal examinations.

On the occasion, Shri Harvinder Virk, Representative, Old Boys Association, also honoured both the teachers. In his address, he highlighted the crucial role of teachers in shaping character and career and exhorted cadets to learn as much as possible from their teachers.

Thereafter, Capt (IN) Gurbir Singh, Principal, Sainik School Kunjpura, addressed the gathering. He acknowledged the distinguished services of the teachers and presented them with school mementos, culminating the ceremony with heartfelt best wishes for their future
