SCHOOL ADMINISTRATION

The administration of the school is vested with the Board of Governors, an autonomous body, under the Chairmanship of the Raksha Mantri. The Chief Minister / Education Minister of the States in which the Sainik School is located, are the members of the Board of Governors.

Each school has a Local Board of Administration for overseeing the functioning of the school and its finances. Sainik School Kunjpura is governed by the Local Board of Administration (LBA) under the Chairmanship of the Chief of Staff, HQ 2 Corps of Indian Army.

The day to day functioning is directly looked after by the officers from tri-services posted in the Sainik School. The present incumbents are as below:
