Hero of Tiger Hill Inspires Cadets at Sainik School Kunjpura
Sainik School Kunjpura had the proud privilege of hosting Honorary Captain Yogendra Singh Yadav, PVC (Retd.), the living legend whose unmatched courage in the Kargil War at Tiger Hill earned him the title of “Hero of Tiger Hill.” His presence filled the atmosphere with patriotic fervor and pride.
Captain Yadav recounted his hair-raising experiences of war, giving the cadets a rare glimpse into the grit, determination, and unyielding spirit of the Indian soldier. His words resonated deeply with the young cadets, leaving them inspired to imbibe the values of courage, sacrifice, and love for the motherland. The students listened in awe as he spoke about battlefield realities and the spirit of brotherhood that defines the Indian Armed Forces
Adding another dimension to the day’s event, Ms. Smriti Kuchhal, an acclaimed Inner Wellness Coach and National Level Gold Medalist Weightlifting Athlete, also addressed the gathering.
