Rules of School Appointment :

Generally, the all-rounder (good in Academics, sports and co-curricular) cadets are chosen to be an appointment, based upon their performance and behavior in the school.

Student & Leadership:

A student leader is typically an elementary, middle, high school, or college student who serves in a leadership position in their school or on their campus. Here in SSK, the cadets are exposed to enormous opportunity independently to hone their leadership skill and become an able leader in future.

Buddy System:

The buddy system is a procedure in which two people, the "buddies", operate together as a single unit so that they are able to monitor and help each other. The buddy system is also informally used by school-aged children, especially on field trips. Assigning each student a buddy provides an extra measure of safety and removes some of the burden of keeping an eye on a large number of children in an unfamiliar environment from the supervising adults.
When this system is used as part of training or the induction of newcomers to an organization, the less experienced buddy learns more quickly from close and frequent contact with the experienced buddy than when operating alone. In adventurous or dangerous activities, where the buddies are often equals, the main benefit of the system is improved safety; each may be able to prevent the other becoming a casualty or rescue the other in a crisis.

In SSK, Lecturettes are routinely delivered by the cadets on various relevant topics concerning various current national and international burning issues, G.K., history, sports, science, food and nutrition, health and hygiene etc. Usually the lecturer stands in front of the audience and recites information relevant to the lecture's content. Lectures delivered by talented speakers are highly informative and stimulating for the young minds. It improves the oratory skill of the budding cadets, removes stage fear and enables a cadet to face the world with added confidence.

Poem Recitation:

Poetry reading is a public oral recitation or performance of poetry. A public reading is typically given on a small stage in the school auditorium, in presence of large crowds. Poetry reading involves cadets reading their own work or work of a reputed poet, reciting it from memory.
